ATTENDANCE
We are in the process of formulating our Critical Incident Plan. One of the main areas of concern is pupil attendance – it is imperative that we are notified before 9.15 am of any absences in order that the register can be marked. We are advised that from September, we must ‘phone parents to check pupil absences if we have not had a note/call confirming the reason for a child to be away from school.
Also, our visitors’ book is crucial in tracking the number of people in the building in the event of an emergency. Therefore, all visitors (including parents) must sign in each time they visit the school. This book is located in our reception area.
Thank you

REMINDERS

• Please can parents of children on medication come into school and check sell-by dates and ensure there is sufficient medication for their child

• Infant children are provided with a piece of fruit daily. – please could junior children bring a piece of fruit to school for their snack .

• Parking:-please do not park by the crossing access or from the bus shelter to Cross Street. Good practice: to please cross children on designated crossing places

Football Coach
We would be very grateful for any offers of help with our Football Club on Mondays at 3.15 pm.
This is a very popular activity, and we would be very sad to lose it. Any help would be much appreciated – even if it isn’t a commitment to each week.
Please contact the school.

Investors in People
we are very proud to have achieved this accreditation.
This is an exacting standard to meet and is used as measure of a quality employer. We are very proud to be recognised as “investing” in all staff, whether teaching or support, and we feel this reflects in the happiness and success of the children, who should benefit from the sense of collective responsibility, achievement and value this award embodies.
A copy of the report is available in the school for anyone interested.
